Sleep Medicine
Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is a common but under-diagnosed condition in which the upper airway repeatedly collapses during sleep.
Diagnosis involves polysomnography (sleep study). Treatment may include weight management, lifestyle measures, CPAP therapy or other interventions depending on severity and individual characteristics.
Allergy Services
Respiratory allergies are common and can significantly affect quality of life. They may present as nasal symptoms, cough or worsen underlying asthma.
Skin prick testing can identify relevant allergens. Management includes allergen avoidance advice, appropriate medicines and allergen immunotherapy in suitable patients.
